Enea Studio
What happens when a rebrand leaves two discoverable identities behind?
Enea Studio is the new identity of the Athens workshop formerly known as Narcissus Jewels. The new site is unusually legible to AI systems. The old Etsy identity, meanwhile, still carries tens of thousands of sales and thousands of reviews under the Narcissus name. In one controlled ChatGPT test, the two names were recommended as if they were separate brands.

This is not a story about a brand AI cannot understand. It is a story about identity continuity: Enea is already recommended for its signature categories, while the marketplace history that helped establish the business remains publicly attached to Narcissus Fine Jewelry.
01 · Split identity
One workshop can still look like two brands.
Public rebrand coverage documents Narcissus Jewels becoming Enea Studio in July 2025. Current Etsy listings still identify the seller as Narcissus / NarcissusFineJewelry and show roughly 34.5K sales and 9.3K reviews. In one of four US-prefixed ChatGPT recommendation prompts in this study, the answer named ENEA Studio first and later recommended Narcissus Fine Jewelry as a separate Etsy brand.
02 · Search
Thousands of rankings produce surprisingly little estimated traffic.
hand chain bracelet · 4,400/mo
10k gold ring · 4,400/mo
10ct gold ring · 12,100/mo
Semrush's US database shows about 4,290 ranking keywords but only about 495 estimated monthly organic visits. Roughly 34% of that estimate comes from Enea-branded searches. The explanation is less mysterious than the topline mismatch: high-volume category terms sit mainly on page two or lower, while many top-ten rankings are low-volume long-tail queries.
Google does understand the merchandise. Enea ranks #6 for “14k gold hand chain,” #5 for “bracelet with connected ring,” and #10 for “diamond bezel necklace.” The opportunity is not basic indexing; it is moving established category relevance into the highest-value positions.
03 · AI recommendation discovery
AI recommendation visibility is ahead of the head-term rankings.
Across eight comparable non-branded prompt runs on ChatGPT and Google AI Mode, Enea appeared in six. Google AI Mode included Enea in all four tested prompts; ChatGPT included it in two of four US-prefixed runs. Enea's own pages were cited in the observed appearances, including its hand-chain collection and journal content.
Strongest territory
Hand chains
The brand was repeatedly selected for the category where its site provides collection copy, product language, FAQs and editorial explanation.
Observed gap
10K gold rings
Google AI Mode named Enea in the tested prompt; ChatGPT did not. Conventional Search places the category at #16–25 on the measured head terms.
These are dated prompt tests, not universal claims about either platform. AI answers can vary between runs.
04 · Owned
The hand-chain pages explain the category unusually well.
The hand-chain collection does more than list products. It defines what a hand chain is, explains fit and construction, distinguishes 10K from 14K gold and links into adjacent bracelet categories. That gives both search engines and answer systems explicit language connecting Enea to the object.
05 · Implication
A rebrand is not finished when the logo changes.
Enea's owned site has already built a clear new entity. The unresolved discovery question is whether the old marketplace identity, accumulated review history and new site can be connected strongly enough that machines consistently understand them as one business. At the same time, Enea has a conventional Search opportunity hiding inside unusually strong AI recognition: move its signature categories from page two into the positions where its recommendation visibility suggests the brand already belongs.
06 · Methodology
A dated snapshot, not a universal score.
Research conducted October 4, 2026. Google ranking and traffic estimates use Semrush's US Organic Research database. AI testing used natural-language, non-branded prompts on logged-out ChatGPT and Google AI Mode. ChatGPT tests were run from a non-US network with “I'm a US shopper” added to the US-comparable prompts. Each prompt was run once. Gemini and Semrush AI Visibility data were not included. The entity-split observation occurred in one of four US-prefixed ChatGPT prompts and should be read as an observed failure mode, not a claim that ChatGPT always treats the identities separately.
